DEAR CLERGY, CIVIC ORGANIZER, PUEBLO COMMUNITY CARING FELLOW: You have reached a “COVENANT PATH” community website dedicated to bringing us all to Christ. “our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will perform some of His mightiest works between now and when He comes again.” “And I give unto you … a commandment that you assemble yourselves together, and organize yourselves, and prepare yourselves, and sanctify your hearts, and cleanse your hands and your feet before me, that I may make you clean.”
PART ONE: The “Covenant Path” project entails 10 weekly classes designed to change habits, through daily study and prayer and inspired works worthy of followers of Jesus Christ. As we personally grow and reach out to others our progress will effect a “Mighty Change”. Each chapel, church, temple, congregation or sanctuary is invited to tailor the steps of the “Path” to the needs of the worshipers of Christ based on age and situation. Project booklets for children, youth and adults have been prepared so that entire families may work together as well as entire congregations, designed for 8-12 participants at a time. It is anticipated that a rabbi, priest, bishop, president, deacon, minister or designee of an ordained clergy will shadow each group to support marital issues and matters of sincere repentance that always come up and require Christlike discretion. It is critical that the clergy who put their hearts and souls into the care of others be lifted up as well. Let’s lighten their loads where we can. Matthew 11:28
PART TWO: CHRISTIAN “COMMUNITY INTERDEPENDENCE AND PERSONAL SELF-RELIANCE”
Temporal self sufficiency in a dozen areas of personal competence through existing community organizations:
COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK: all areas of our community tied to a network of like minded individuals to promote peace, health and personal safety. Nobody falls through the cracks.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL GROUPS: support the established professional groups already in place in our community for local medically proficient actions during fire, famine, flood and other related disasters. Ideally each neighborhood would have a group of professionals organized to triage a Colorado type emergency in their locale, residential or rural, when traditional Emergency Services are too far away or unavailable. Offer existing facilities to organizations such as the Red Cross to house secure medical supplies, stretchers, etc. and expand the list of emergency shelters for displaced victims of fire and flood so common in our State.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH:
FOOD: Reach 1,000 households with the “Thrive Not Just Survive” two hour certification training course. Every household in our community can and should be trained to continue safely and securely for 72 hours (3 days) without reliance on emergency supplies or services in the event of major snowstorm, utility service or transportation disruption. The course is all encompassing for food and water preparation, emergency supplies. Professional certification courses for emergency medical professionals, security services, etc. are available through a third party local vendor.
THE FIRST ‘TRAIN THE TRAINER’ CERTIFICATION CLASS WILL BE IN PUEBLO WEST THIS WEDENSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST AT 10AM to NOON. ONLY 10 OPENINGS REMAIN. Reserve a spot by email to wecarecolo@gmail.com.
On Saturday, November 5th, 2022 an intermediate “Thrive Not Just Survive” certification course will be held on the Saint Charles Mesa in Pueblo County from 10am to Noon. And a beginner course will begin at 2pm until 4pm the same day and location.

FOOD PREPARATION: Use of community freeze dry and vacuum packaging equipment and expertise for 25 year life food storage. Reduce the waste of abundant food resources in our community through modern preservation.
RECREATION:
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM FOR OUR CHALLENGING TIMES: “COVENANT PATH”. Personal spiritual strength requires a personal spiritual plan as well as community outreach to “Love our neighbor”. Who is taking care of the 99 while the shepherd is out looking for the one. Strengthen the strong.
SENIORS HAVE A LOT TO OFFER: lighten the loneliness of the forgotten. Support community resources designed to advance and enhance the lifestyles of senior citizens.
YOUTH RECREATION: information on how to enlighten and enliven children during times of dislocation. Material to have on hand when the next pandemic or other societal disruption happens. How to plan ahead.
PART THREE: REACHING OUT TO THE ONE
For years we have struggled to deal with the homeless situation in our community that seems to grow daily. The reasons for homelessness are many but basic human needs tend to remain the same. Working through existing community organizations and with individuals in the homeless community stepping up to train their counterparts, self-reliance can be emphasized to help reduce the hazards of homelessness and the challenges it presents to all members of society.
SINCE THIS PROJECT HAS NO HIERARCHY & SIMPLY PROVIDES RESOURCES & VOLUNTEERS TO LIKE MINDED COMMUNITY EFFORTS, ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES WILL BE ADDED AS COVENANT INDIVIDUALS STEP UP TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL IDEAS & RESOURCES
BLESS YOU ALL FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!
